HOW MUCH DOES THE APP COST?
Nothing. Vea Fitness is free and always will be. We sincerely want to help you get fit, so we have brands sponsor your workouts, regardless your skill level.
IS THE VEA FITNESS APP AVAILABLE ON ALL PHONES?
For now, Vea Fitness is available on iTunes App Store for Apple and Google Play for Android, supporting most devices.
HOW DO VEA FITNESS REWARDS WORK?
To earn a reward with Vea Fitness, simply select a Challenge you want to perform from the home screen, and either run, walk, bike or hike the required distance. Vea uses GPS to track your workout, and when you’re done, provides a coupon code to that Partner brand.
WHICH FITNESS METRICS ARE RECORDED WHEN I USE VEA?
Vea tracks run, walk, bike, kayak and hike, while recording and storing the following metrics: Speed, time, distance, run route and calories. You’ll need to input your weight for calorie calculation.
DO I NEED TO CARRY MY PHONE WHILE I WORKOUT?
Yes, so that we can record your GPS route.
CAN I RUN ON THE TREADMILL OR DO OTHER NON-GPS WORKOUTS TO EARN REWARDS?
Not yet.
HOW DO I CHECK IN AT A BOOTH OR EVENT?
You must be engaged in a Vea Fitness Challenge (as in, your screen shows a GPS map) to check in at booths or stations at events. Simply tap “Check-in” and scan the QR code at the booth. You can pause your workout by tapping “Pause” on the bottom right of the workout activity screen. Some booths require a check-out to redeem a reward, so make sure to check out when necessary, so you can earn the coin.
WILL VEA FITNESS WORK WHEN MY PHONE IS LOCKED?
Yes, it can be locked or on another app and still track your fitness activities accurately.
WHICH TYPE OF REWARDS CAN I EARN?
We have over 25 Partners offering users rewards for working out, including New Balance, Saucony, Thrive Market and more. Rewards are in the form of % off discounts, or simply free workout gear.
DO REWARDS AND COUPON CODES EXPIRE?
Yes. Please check Challenge expiration dates before taking a Vea Fitness Challenge, by reading the “Challenge” details. And make sure to use your rewards before they expire!
CAN MY FRIENDS AND I WORK OUT TOGETHER WITH VEA?
Yes, you can view your friends’ workouts in the Social Feed, under the main navigation.
ARE MY RUNS AND WORKOUT DATA SAVED FOR LATER REVIEW?
Yes, you can view all your workouts in the Activity Log on the main navigation, according to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Challenge Details.
